It seems to be the secondary career of choice. I've noticed that when I've gone online looking for wigs that a lot of celebrities are actually the sellers or the "face of the company". There's Jessica Simpson, Beverly Johnson, Raquel Welch, Brandy...Britney would probably do it if she weren't so ill. Old school wig sellers are Ava Gabor, Dolly Pardon and Shirley Jones.
When did this trend begin and why? Why are wigs so popular today? It seems that it has less of a stigma now. I had a horrible hair breakage and now almost consider myself an expert but I'd really like to know about the trend and the shift from something ill people wear to fashion statement. Your responses are welcome. Just curious.

Wigs and extensions are huge now because they provide everyone with a more versatile look and they are more affordable and easier to use than ever before. I have use protein fusion extension, old school tracks, full wigs and my new love is clip in extensions. Clip in extensions are my favorite because i can go to any length, change the hair with some rollers or comb it out straight .... AND the biggest reason... I am in the military so when I not doing the Army thing I can clip in some pink or super blond pieces and have a new look. Fun Fun Fun!

its a fast and easy way to go from short to long, long to short, curly to straight, and straight to curly! instead of taking hours to curl or straighten hair or getting extensions or cutting ur hair for real!
