Ok im studying hairdressing at college and one of my projects is to make:

a hair style on a polystrene head

out of lots of diffrent colours and materials

it has to be of a celebrity or character from a film

does anyone have any ideas i could do, i have no idea!

i was thinking about christina aguilera because i absoluty love her! but there are to other girls in my class that are doing her and i dont wanna be in conpetition with them, and i wanna do some thing that noone else will do.

With that skin tone, you can pull off just about any color. I have the same skin tone, and have found that colors that typically look bad on almost everyone (i.e. neon colors) are just about the only ones that don't look too good; bright colors are fine, just not neon.

O.k so here's the story

I have been expireminting with natural makeup, I thought I was doing fine until yesterday my crush said "Damn! Brittany,You have on alot of makeup" that totally pissed me off.So I need ways to make my makeup look completely natural.My favorite celebrity example is Carrie Underwood.I know she is completely made up bought it looks like she only has one article of makeup on.

I am a makeup artist so I hope that this helps:

Your eyes are your face's most prominent feature. Eye shadow contours, eyeliner defines and mascara adds length and drama to your lashes. Your perfect palette depends on the depth of color in your skin, as well as its undertones.

Determine if your skin has warm or cool undertones. If you have darker skin, accentuate your eyes with shadows and liners whose colors are richer and deeper in intensity.

Enhance a warm complexion with shadows that range between soft orange and rust, from honey to cinnamon. Choose liners that are soft to rich brown, and opt for brown or brown- black mascara.

Complement cooler complexions with shadows in varying shades of blue, purple and pink. Go with liners that are slate gray to soft purple, and wear black or dark gray mascara. Green flatters skin that has both warm and cool undertones. Blue-greens complement cooler complexions, and brownish, earthy greens enhance warmer ones.

Add glamour to a warm complexion with coppery or golden shadow. Pearly purple or silvery blue shadows will glamorize a cooler skin tone.

Tips:

Take some time to experiment with color. Head to your local department store and have a beauty consultant do each eye in a different color scheme to envision your possibilities.

The right brow shape will accentuate your eyes and enhance your features. Pencil in thin brows for more definition.

Warnings:

Choose long-wearing and hypoallergenic eye makeup formulas to minimize potential eye irritation.

Consider lipstick shades that complement your skin tone. Look for deep currants and luscious plums if your skin is ebony or a rich deep brown, and consider coffees, terracottas and brownish reds if you have medium-brown skin. Lighter skin is radiant in varying shades of caramel, peach and coral.

Choose a lip liner that is one shade darker than your lipstick color. This will add definition, and when filled into the lips, will promote longer-lasting color.

Remember that darker tones will enhance the size of your lips, while lighter shades will appear to minimize them.

Since skin tones vary greatly among women of African descent, finding the right face makeup can be tricky. The wrong makeup can lead to an ashen or flat complexion, but with a little insight and a lot of experimentation, you can minimize the guesswork and put your best face forward.

Steps:

1. Look beyond your skin's color and examine its undertones. Rich ebony complexions usually have cool, almost blue undertones, while brown and caramel complexions have warm golden undertones.

Testers in drug stores may not be sterile. Buy with a store guarantee: if the color is not right, then the item is returnable.

I love to use MAC even though its expensive, but you can use anything Almay, Loreal True Match, Covergirl, Maybelline, and so on.

I had the same problem. But I found out how to do it and my make up looks just like Carrie Underwoods. Here's what I do. For foundation I use sheer cover. I like it becuase they have it for every skin tone. You can buy it at Target. when you use it blend it really good and it will look like your not even wearing any makeup. Next I put a little bit of cover girl blush an the apples of my cheeks, but just enough so that you look healthy and radiant not like a clown. Then blend that upward into your hair line. Now for that natural look you dont really need eye liner but you decide. I use lancome base mascara and black mascara. then for my eyelids I use a shimmery skin colored eye shadow on my brow bone and then a couple shades darker on my lid to the creese. everything that I use on my eyes is Lancome wich is at Dillards but you dont have to.

It's all about the type of makeup your using. Try a mineral makeup which offers great coverage but looks totally natural. Try Simply-Minerals, they have 17 foundation shades from very pale to very dark so one will match you great. After that just add a little eyeshadow and only go for natural/neutral colors. This will look natural, flawless, and not over done.

I love Ashley Olsen's in the last pic- they last longer if you work with them getting the longer in the other pic's lengths. Ashley's are the cutest! That's what I always reccomend because you can still wear them to the side or front.

I really like the last one. I have really curly hair and I have the last one. I've had the first one before too, and then I grew them out and got the last one, and for both of them, since my hair is so curly I had to always straighten my bangs with a flat iron. But that really depends on how curly/wavy your hair already is! So yeah, the last one is really pretty. Best of luck!!!

she admires you so much she wants to be like you- you should feel honored. it's hard, i know, because you want to be an induvidual, but you should know it's only because she looks up to you.

when you notice that she's doing something or wearing something different from you, compiment it and her induviuality. she's seeking approval, and if you approve her induvidual choices she's less likely to copy you all the time.

Dont worry about Cameron Diaz's blonde, concentrate on what u like. What plays a role in looking nice is not only the shade of blonde, its ur skin tone. My situation is that I believe that you should always strive to better yourself, but....I think I'm pretty much perfect right now. I mean my skin, hair, body, and clothes are the best. People tell me how perfect I look all the time so I know it's true. (I actually get sick of people fawning all over me. People literally stop, turn and stare where ever I go. Now I know what it's like to be a celebrity! :) Is it possible to get even better or should I just accept that I'm perfect? You're perfect just the way you are. I too suffer from the same problem. I've had more free drinks given to me by various admirers than I've had hot meals. I'm currently suffering from a hangover but I still look great. It's a hard life.

I think you are self-centered and no body is perfect, you may be good looking, have all the nice things but your insides are ugly.

EVERYONE can think and act for themselves. Hmmm. I think I can relate to a degree. I am by no means an "ugly" person and I take some care in my presentation, but it is for MY benefit, not for others. I have felt "sick" of people constantly complimenting me on my outward features. I would much rather they noticed my incredible organizational skills or fabulously decorated home, or gourmet dinners or something that I've actually had to WORK at to achieve, not my God-given physical attributes. It doesn't sound to me like that's the case with you, though. I'm curious as to why you would post such a question on a forum like this. May I suggest something? i dont squats and my butt and thighs are getting a little smaller, theyu will get musles first then gradually shrink.. go for a run which will really work your legs.. i go for 45 min once a week (you could go more but im pretty busy and dont have much time for running so i do smaller excersises everyday)

random excersises:

squats, lunges, lay on your back and kick one foot forward at a time and touch your heel to the floor lightly then repeat 20 times for 3 reps.(should be a bycycle motion)

Ok, here are some questions about side bangs since I'm getting them soon and I don't want to make any mistakes...

1.Which is better? Side bangs or side swept bangs?

2. Should I bring a pictures of a celebrity with side bangs to the salon?

3. Should I get layers with my side bangs?

4. Is it ok to get side bangs if you hair is a little poofy?

1. side swept bangs are awesome so if you decide you're tired of them you can let them be normal...bangs...if that makes sense!

2. Only if you find a celebrity with hair you like, photo bucket, normal people on there, you can often find hair styles closer to what your looking for

3. Layers look really good with side bangs, they would be a good idea, without them side bangs will look cute too

4. The poof, if small, can make it look more cute, so yeah, if it's a lot, i mean a lot, of poof then maybe, straightening it down and hairspray can help with that though

I'd say that her natural hair style is wavy and she just added hair products. If you get a perm it will not look like that it will have tighter curls. Ur best bet is to curl it like that with an iron and use an oil spray to achieve it.

itz not a perm. itz probably hair rolld loosely in rollers. 2 also get a kinda style lyk that, apply mousse 2 hair n scrunch it up when applyng. then wet ur hands n with it, comb ur hair with ur fingers. dont use a brush. itll mess up the whole look.

it seems to me that she just washed her hair and then blow dryed it with product in her hair, she used a defusior and dryed her hair upside down and used her hands to gently scrunched it during the drying process, theree are a lot of products that put body in the hair you can use someting like a curl activator to get that look. have fun

Just put one finger in and scoop out a little, then get it on all your fingertips and randomly pull at the top of your hair.

Hair always looks better and is easier to style after a day of not washing it (I know--gross). Get some layers and highlights to emphasize your hairstyle. Try either a hair gel, gum, wax or mousse and try using them on wet and dry hair to see which works better for you. The trick is to experiment with a lot of products to find out what works. Bedhead and Tigi are okay. You can apply the product, 'scrunch' with your fingers and blowdry to hold the style in place.

i think u should get some bangs (and if u don't like bangs then maybe try the side bang style) and keep ur hair the same length and put in a light brunette colour streaks and its like totally versatile u can but headbands, and everything u listed above and if ur bangs get it in ur face or u play sports u can clip them up
